The Big Idea! Ahoy Sarp Yilmaz and Sinan Kaya. After several EPs on various labels now release their debut on Simple as That Records. The two guys from the big metropolis of Istanbul bring us here, two beads which make the sun rise. The two men Schaeufler & Zovsky (Acker Records, 3000°) and Andre Kronert (Ostwind, Night Drive Music) each control still in a wonderful remix. Even more diversity on this record is thus ensured.

KOMMT ZUSAMMEN – Get together: This is the simple and direct message of the fourth CD on 3000 ° Records, a motto that unites local artists from Mecklenburg with internationally renowned ones. The CD takes up the idea of the annual KOMMT ZUSAMMEN festival in Rostock and that is why it goes far beyond the scope of a classical festival compilation. Rather, KOMMT ZUSAMMEN is an attitude towards life. Listening to the compilation makes you virtually see the laughing seagulls at the Baltic Sea. It gives rise to the idea of wind blowing across the thousand lakes of the North-East German state while some guys on the shore are getting their sailing boat ready. Beside well-established names like Dapayk, Stimming, Rundfunk3000 or The Glitz, it s especially the new (probably also the young and wild) artists like Umami, David Pasternack and Schaeufler & Zovski who are inspired by this lifestyle and who set it to music. Sounds full of love and the typical warmth of Mecklenburg!

Ackerdub 10 laesst sich sehen, denn alle vier Tracks werden wieder ordentlich aufs Tanzbein gehen. Von tief emotional bis groovigem House dreht diese Scheibe wieder ordentlich auf!

Snugness and calmness are important ingredients for a fulfilled life- and for entertaining dance music as well, as is proven by the gentlemen Schaeufler and Zovsky. Their debut album could be characterized as a cunning mixture of humorously grinning relaxation and pushing dance floor bounce. This unique sound reflects the stylistic background of the duo: While the one keeps grooving on the laid back and independent vibe of his rural home Mecklenburg, the other moved to Berlin already some time ago and inhales all the diverse, international influences of the electronic metropolis. The Village is rhythmically fuelled by casual and lasciviously House tunes with a warm and friendly character, supported by organic, dubby bass lines. Matching this positive and uplifting mood, light melodies, classical styled filter modulations and unobtrusive vocal entries remind the laid-back amusement of a sunlit Sunday outing.

Kennst du das auch? Man hört einen Song, kann nicht mal genau sagen warum, aber: Das Teil groovt einfach bis zum Anschlag! Als Understatement, als strategische Tiefstapelei wird dieses Phänomen gemeinhin umschrieben und was der aus Jena stammende Douglas Greed hier als Einstieg der neusten Acker Scheibe präsentiert, ist ein Paradebeispiel dafür: Unaufdringlich und doch unwiderstehlich kommt das fast schon als Tool anmutende „78Straight“ daher. Bei seinem sommerlichen „Western Hives“ ist dagegen schon eher ersichtlich, woher der Groove weht, von den luftigen Xylophonklängen nämlich. Und doch kommt der eigentliche Schub auch hier perfide von hinten… Die beiden Mecklenburger Schäufler & Zovski haben das Teil sehr percussionlastig umgestaltet und mit einer schwitzig bis sexy anmutenden Note versehen. Und was ist das? Entspannt, mit dickem Grinsen auf den Backen und einer heiteren Melodie auf den Lippen: Na klar, der Mollono.Bass Remix, der „Western Hives“ noch einmal eine ganz andere Gangart verleiht!

Das vierte Release auf Simple as That Records kommt von den jungen und dynamischen Label Heads Sandro Schäufler & Marcel Schulz aka Kollektiv Ost daher. Slamming Remix Package von der Single AYO, mit Mixen von Niko Schwind (Stil vor Talent) und den Acker Records Artists Carsten Rausch sowie das Live-Ensable Schäufler & Zovsky. Die musikalische Wochenendsbeziehung geht in die zweite Runde. Ein kleines Bisschen Spaß, ein kleines Bisschen Gradlinigkeit, und ein kleines Bisschen Frische, SIMPLE AS THAT!

Wie während ihrer Shows in der Manege, so geht es auch auf diesem Zwölfzöller ausgesprochen abwechslungsreich und unterhaltsam zu, Das Trio Funkwerkstatt weiß durch einen luftig- leichten Drahtseilakt mit beinahe schon songartigem Vocaleinsatz zu begeistern, als nächstes zaubern ihre Kollegen von The Glitz mit verruchter Elegant ein Lächeln auf die Lippen des Publikums. Auf der Rückseite offenbart die vorliegende Wandzirkus EP zwei weitere Klangkunststücke, Buchstäbliches Mitfiebern ist angesagt, wenn Carsten Rausch sein rapides Hypnosekunststück namens Fever darbietet und schließlich präsentieren die Herren Schäufler & Zovsky mit ihrer lebhaft gestalteten Posse Am Utkieck einen anregend- humorvollen Abschluss des Programms.
